Grocery Stores & Box Tops

Some of the easiest fundraisers we have at Wood Acres are the grocery programs.  The school earns more than $10,000 each year from these programs, and all you have to do is register your grocery cards and do your regular grocery shopping. 

Box Tops

One of Wood Acres most long running fundraisers may be the easiest to participate in! Simply sign up with certain stores, clip coupons or both to raise money to benefit our school.

Every time you clip one Box Tops for Education coupon, you help Wood Acres receive 10 cents! 10 coupons equal a dollar, and so on. SO, please do you part and look through the items you already have in your house for these “coupons”. There are plenty of products that sport this pink, purple, yellow “coupon”—General Mills cereal (Cheerios for one!), Betty Crocker mixes, Nature Valley bars, Kleenex boxes, Cottonelle, Saran Wrap, Ziploc, etc. Here’s a link to see the complete list: http://www.boxtops4education.com.  You can also click on "marketplace" and register to shop online.  By using this portal, every time you purchase something from your favorite online stores, Wood Acres earns a percentage.

Giant Store Program

Starting in October and running through April, Wood Acres Elementary School will have the opportunity to earn cash through Giant A+ BonusBucks Program. There are four easy ways to sign up. All you have to do is fill out a registration card and:

Bring it to our "Activities Night", Drop it off at any Giant store, Log on to http://www.giantfood.com/aplus to register online or Dial 1-877-366-2668 to register your card over the phone.

After you register your card, each shopping trip at Giant using your BonusCard earns CASH for our school! Each month, the amount of CASH awarded will be updated on the Giant website. Our school will receive a check at the end of the program. The money can be used for any of our school's educational needs. The amount we earned last year was well over $5,000!

Remember, even if you registered your card last year, you must re-register this year for our school to receive credit. Attending to this simple process makes a HUGE difference to our school. We need your support!

Please be sure to register your card to benefit Wood Acres using ID # 00661 as soon as school resumes. Also, don't forget to encourage your friends and relatives to do the same. It could mean the world to our children.

Safeway Program

If you signed up your Safeway Club card with eScrip last year, renewing is easy. Just go to http://www.escrip.com and click on the "Yes Renew" button on the bottom,left-hand side of the page and enter some basic information to reactivate your account.

If this is your first time registering a card, then go to https://secure.escrip.com/jsp/supporter/registration/step1.jsp and follow the directions to register your card. The Wood Acres group number is 6589051. There are also several other ways to easily look up this number on the site.

If you do not have your Safeway Club Card number, you may call 1-877-SAFEWAY (1-877-723-3929) to get the number or to otherwise update your account. The operators are very helpful.
