The Wizard of Oz - 4th Grade Musical

The Wizard of Oz is an annual production put on by the Fourth Grade class.  The musical performance is produced and directed by Adventure Theatre for fourth grade students at Wood Acres. 2012 marks Wood Acres’ seventh production of The Wizard of Oz. For those who haven’t seen the performance in the past, it is a full-scale musical production with a professional director, in a professional theater, with costumes, lighting, singing and dancing. It is a wonderful experience for children who are interested in theatrical arts.

There has been a flurry of rehearsals and preparations happening in the Merry Old Land of Oz. The cast of 45 fourth grade students (the largest cast in the history of the production) are working hard to prepare for their upcoming production. The Wizard of Oz musical will be performed at Adventure Theater on the following dates:

Friday March 23 at 8pm
Saturday March 24 at 8pm
Sunday March 25 at 6pm

Tickets will go on sale in late February.  Tickets are in high demand and short supply, so if you are interested in attending the show to see your friends, please contact one of the cast members to purchase tickets on your behalf.  Tickets sales are managed through the PTA / Parent WOZ Coordinators, not Adventure Theater. Price of admission is $10.

Note: Thanks to the PRIDE Fund, this is not a fundraiser, just an inexpensive and fun evening for your family.  What you pay covers just the costs incurred by the PTA.
