Communicating with the Wood Acres community is much like fitting together a large -- and somewhat difficult-- jigsaw puzzle. As our school continues to grow, the PTA is committed to reaching parents in as many ways as possible.

The Wednesday Packet is the PTA’s weekly informational publication. Each Wednesday, children receive a packet of news and information to bring home. This can include information on PTA related events, sign up sheets and reminders for important dates. Starting in fall of 2009, the Wednesday Packet is available on-line through this website.

Woodchips Monthly Magazine is a monthly newsletter designed for parents. A favorite feature is student interviews with school staff, which allows budding authors to see their work in print. Parents generate information and articles on important issues, and even give tips and advice on making elementary school life easier.

Woodnet Email-Join links our parents to pertinent information related to PTA business, school affairs, and educational topics. Information on Woodnet is pertinent to everyone in the school community, or to a general segment of it. Visit the link to sign up.
