The Holiday Gift Drive is Underway!

Thanks to those who have already signed up to fulfill wishes from our sister schools, Montgomery Knolls Elementary, New Hampshire Estates Elementary, and Rolling Terrace Elementary! We recently added many new wishes and will continue to do so!

To allow us enough time to organize and deliver all gifts before the holiday, this year’s gift delivery deadline is Friday, December 15th 

Unwrapped gifts can be dropped off at Stacey Kaltman’s house (Address: 5703 Mohican Road, Bethesda, MD 20816) starting on Saturday, November 25th. If you leave a gift at Stacey’s house, please label it with your Child ID#. Your ChildID# is located on Sign Up Genius next to the gift you sign up for, for example: WA-1a, WA-1b, WA-2a, K-1, K-2, K59-K65, and so on and so forth)

Alternatively, you can mail gifts directly through Amazon to Stacey’s house (again - gifts should be un-wrapped) – but please include your Child ID# in the Amazon Gift Note so we can accurately track your gift and get it into the correct child’s hands this holiday season. 

Wood Acres Families: If you personally could use help with gifts or groceries this holiday season, please contact our counselor Andrea Solazzo by email at andrea_c_solazzo@mcpsmd.org or by phone at 240-740-1120 or by sending a note with your child to school. This is completely private and confidential. Your name and identity will not be revealed to anyone other than Ms. Solazzo. You can submit a “holiday wish” for each member of your family directly to Ms. Solazzo and she will help arrange for gift cards for groceries and for gifts of clothing, toys, and other items – as needed.
