WOZ Thank You's!!
On behalf of the WoodAcres PTA, we extend our heartfelt thanks and congratulations to this year’s WOZ Parent Coordinators, Emily Adler, Azadeh Eshaghi, Allison Hester-Haddad, Anastasia Huvelle, and Alice Walker, for leading such an extraordinary production.
When this year’s production needed leadership, you all stepped forward with enthusiasm and a clear commitment to creating a joyful experience for our students and families. From the beginning, you set a tone of positivity, teamwork and community that carried through every rehearsal and ultimately every moment on stage.
Behind the scenes, what the community experienced as ‘magic’ is the result of months of planning, flexibility, and hard work - even when navigating endless school cancelations and snow.
Ms. McNeil, your passion, creativity and dedication make WOZ such a beloved WoodAcres tradition. Year after year, you pour your heart into guiding our students through this experience, helping them grow in confidence and teamwork and joy on stage. Long after the curtain closes and the sets are packed away, the confidence, friendship and memories you create for our students remains.
Last but not least, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Zaks and the entire WAES faculty and staff for their encouragement and support of our cast members throughout this process. WOZ requires tremendous coordination and care, and we are grateful for the leadership that allows this beloved Wood Acres tradition to flourish.
Thank you all for helping our students discover their courage, use their hearts, stretch their brains, and feel that Wood Acres will always be a place they can call home!

Congratulations to the 2026 Cast of Wizard of Oz and Mrs. McNeil for their successful performances this weekend! We loved taking the trip down the yellow brick road with you!!
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Committee Chairs for their invaluable contributions to the 4th grade production of Wizard of Oz. Their hard work, dedication, and creativity helped make this production a resounding success.
Thank you to our Programs Chair, Lisa Resnikoff, for introducing our guests to the production with beautiful visuals. Our Costume Chairs, Khara Mayson and Amy Procknal for their fantastic work in coordinating and managing all the costumes and managing their committee on the costuming process! Our Make-up Chairs, Sumona Guha, Terrill Keiner Bahar, and Sarah Skancke and their committee of volunteers did an amazing job in transforming the cast members into their roles. Jamie Madison, our Tech Chair, and his team of volunteers, coordinated all mic management and repair weeks before the performances. A HUGE thank you to Jeanne Arnold and Elaine Gold, our Backstage Runners Chairs, and their team, for wrangling cast members and hustling them onto the stage for their scenes each night. Our Photography Chairs, Laura Gillam and Katie Moore, for capturing our cast from rehearsals through all 4 performances. Last, but certainly not least, Jessica Mullins and Lindsay Thompson coordinated an awesome cast + crew party!
