WARM CLOTHING DRIVE

The PTA's Warm Clothing Drive to benefit our sister schools will be held October 16 – 19 (Monday – Thursday) this year.

Please start setting aside the following items:

  • New or gently used children's coats, hats, mittens/gloves, sweaters, scarves, and snow boots -- all children's sizes from infant on up.
  • New or gently used easy-to-pull-on pants and shirts in small sizes for the health room and for children in the Pre-K program.
  • New or gently used adult coats and adult sweaters.

Clothing should be clean and in ready-to-wear condition! Many recipients lack free or easy access to laundry facilities, so please launder soiled items before donating. This helps recipients feel good about their "new" clothing.

The Warm Clothing Drive benefits students at our sister schools in Silver Spring, New Hampshire Estates (Pre-K - 2) and Oak View Elementary (3 -5).

We welcome volunteers to help collect clothing between 8:30 AM and 9:15 Monday, Oct. 16th thru Thursday, Oct 19th and to sort clothing Friday 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Liz Levy.
